Welcome from the Tax Assessor
In my first term in office I along with my
staff have diligently worked to modernize the
Assessor/Collector's office to better serve the
taxpayers of Lawrence County. This website is
the result of these efforts.
Our goal is to serve the people of Lawrence County
with outstanding customer service. I understand this
office belongs to the citizens of this county and I am
elected to serve those citizens.
The information contained herein will be regularly
maintained for your benefit. We will continue to
enhance the site's features. Your suggestions and
comments are encourged.
You are welcome to come by this office any time.

Dear Customer,
The time of the year has come again for the
Lawrence County Land Sale. The Land Sale for
the 2008 taxes will be held on August 31, 2009
starting at 9:00 am. I wanted to give you a heads
up on what to expect for this up coming sale.
Pre-registration will begin August 1, 2009.
A preliminary listing of property for sale will
be published on our website by August the 10th
and will run in the Lawrence County Press
August 5th and again August 19th.
As stated last year, for this Land Sale we will
only accept cash or certified check. I have two
forms that need to be completed befor the sale.
I will be happy to fax them to you if you give me
a call. |
